Why we use different Rating Systems

1. The Tote Board is the Answer.

1. There are a lot of ways people handicap the horses, but to be in the top 2% of players, you need to use the tote board as the final answer as to your horse plays. No matter what type of handicapping you do, as pace, speed, trainers, etc. the horses you pick can still run very flat, especially if he is not verified by the tote board. Higher odds horses that players back off of in the last 15 minutes on the tote board very seldom win. On the Odds Analyzer they will have a number like -3.1 to -4.1. I believe if there is "inside information" or who is going to actually win the race it will be found on analyzing the tote board. This is so because all players of each race in order to make money must add their money to the pool at sometime before the race starts in order to make money. By using the odds analyzer we detect all the small and big changes for 15 minutes before the race starts. We are trying to detect which horse these insiders are betting on.

2. Races are Complex Puzzles.

2. Also of all the people who handicap the horses, very few can say they are in the black, (make money) at the end of any period of time, say 1 week, 2 months, 6 months or a year. Why is this? Well first of all, most races are complex puzzles that need individual solutions. (I have seen, pace handicappers show how the race should be run, then after the race say it was completely opposite as to what they thought. Some people even think the entire race is just random luck, you will find this not to be true after using the Odds Analyzer.) What works for one race may not work real well or at all for another. Following you will find 3 different ways to read the results you get with your Odds Analyzer. You can then rate each race in a way that is most appropriate for each race depending on the CT Odds #s you get.

Examples of how to Analyze or Rate your CT#s

when using the Odds Analyzer!

I. Early Money/Late Money

I. This rating of horses in this race is selecting + & - runners separately, the + #s are the runners with the most money added late & called "late money" (+2.5 in this case on the #6) and the - #s are the runners with more money added early, then tapering off, this is called "early money". Indian Flare had the most significant change, a -5.7 & also had the highes amount of early money bet. This rating works on certain days, as if there is a bias. Some days most races are won by Early Money horses, & on other days mostof the races are won by Late Money horses. A possible play was a $2. to Win on Indian Flare, which cost $2.00 and the return was $7.20 or 260% return. This horse had the greatest significant change.

II. Greatest Change in Money

II. This rating of horses in this race is selectiing runners that have the greatest change, (2.9 in this case on the #6) and ignoring wheather the change was a + or - change. This rating seems to work the best in Stake races. It helps to pick horses that have had alot of early money bet on them, like Lava Man. Molengao on the other hand had more late money bet, but his intensity of change was even higher than Lava Man. All the others had insignificant changes. A possible play was a $1. Exacta Box of [6,7], which cost $2.00 and the return was $6.70 or 235% return, This was a better bet return than Lava Man to win for $2.00 bet, which paid $3.20. Plus you had the chance of Molengao beating Lava Man for an even higher exacta payoff.

III. Chron. Order Money

III. This rating of horses in this race is selectiing runners that have the greatest money added, the highest + # (+2.5 in this case on the #6) and down to the runners that have money taken away, all in a chronologically order. It helps to pick horses that have had alot of late money bet on them, like Icy Atlantic & Railroad. Forty Niner's Son & Crested on the other hand just stayed even, (+0.0) but were rated 3rd & 4th, both being higher than negative #s. The top 4 rated odds analyzer were the top 4 finishers. A possible play was a $1. Exacta Box of [6,4], which cost $2.00 and the return was $19.70 or 885% return. A Possible Superfecta play was CT#s 1-2/1-2/3-4/3-4, which was Prg.#s 4-6/4-6/1-7/1-7, which cost $4.00 for the $1 SFC and the return was $344.60 or 8515% return.
